A new update from the National Weather Service shows there are several rounds of strong to severe storms incoming today, into this evening and overnight into Saturday. The primary threats with these storm systems are going to be high winds, with gusts up to 60 mph in some places. Large, damaging hail is also likely with some of these storm cells.
Storm coverage will range from isolated to scattered, with any storm capable of producing all modes of severe weather.
Officials say a mother and daughter were killed as multiple tornadoes crossed northwest Oklahoma. More severe weather is expected Friday.
